10 Wordpress plugins that benefit your blog abound on the Internet.

10 Essential Wordpress Plugins is aimed at Internet Marketers.

Good work by Tim & Anthony Buchalka yet they have missed what I consider to be some essential plugins.

So without more ado I add my own top 10 to theirs, and these are in no specific order:

Plugin	Description
Google Analytics	Find visitor numbers and links clicked by using Google Analytics straight from Wordpress
Twitter Tools	Announce blog posts on Twitter and show Tweets on your blog
Wordpress Auto Upgrade	Automatically upgrades you to the next version of Wordpress. Also does a copy of your installation before upgrading!
Better Comments Manager	Enables you to reply to comments from the dashboard
Feedsmith	Feedsmith enables you to track subscribers, popular posts and to change your feed and advertise it
Share This	Use share this to enable readers to send your post to a variety of social media sites, including Digg
MaxblogPress	Makes it less likely that you’ll be banned from using too many pings
Super Cache	Speeds up delivery of your blog pages so that there’s less waiting time
Plugin Installer	This is my favourite plugin. It installs Wordpress plugins from your blog easily and without using FTP. It also monitors for updates to your plugins.
Batch Categories	Allows you to assign a category to multiple posts and more…

Another plugin that I find very useful when I’m writing about The Apprentice (with Sir Alan Sugar) is the InSeries plugin which allows you to link a series of posts and to show a table of contents to each post. See here for an example of The Apprentice Series
